Marsh Creek & Springton Manor
Sunrise to 11 am
Marsh Creek offers great opportunities for early morning light and sunrise shots over water. Often, fishermen in small boats or kayaking enthusiasts provide excellent subjects.

Marsh Creek is also a great spot to experiment with light painting. Light painting is a technique to control excessive contrast. It does seem strange to say" excessive contrast" because this technique works when it is still dark outside. However, there is color in the sky between nautical and civil twilight. An external light source, like an every day flash light, is used to put the right amount of light on foreground objects to more closely match the background exposure. Arrive early and give it a try! (A cable release is highly recommended due to the long exposure.)

At 8 am, we will move to Springton Manor farm, which is just a short drive away. Opportunities for photographs of reflections on a pond, rushing water, and farm settings are abundant.
